Popular restaurant among locals and people in Shatin area. Their roasted goose and chicken congee are good, as well as other dishes. Staffs are friendly, price very reasonable.

Friend took me here for dinner because I wanted some roast goose, squab, and char siu specifically. This place did not disappoint. Especially the char siu, it was so flavorful and every bite was delicious, tender, 半肥瘦 meat. The roast goose was also very delicious. You don't need to go to 深井 or the famous 裕記 chain for good roast goose. The 白豬肺湯 soup was delicious as well. Rich in flavor with every sip. I will definitely come back again.

a very decent neighborhood restaurant. we went for dim sum on a weekday, got seated right away. ordered some pigeons as well — not sure if they were roasted or lightly fried but they were tasty.

Also known as "Sun Keung Kee Roast Goose and Seafood Restaurant", it was veritably a well established (since 1978) and reputable Chinese-food place, highly popular with both locals and tourists. We ordered some of its best known 'signatures' and dim-sum: roast goose (half), roast pigeon, chicken-meat congee, fish-maw with fish-roe, "scale-fish" balls, shrimp-hargaw (premier), braised chicken-feet, beef-tripe, cordyceps militaris (worm-grass flower) with chicken-fillet, egg-yolk layered cake. Taken together with "pu-erh" Chinese tea, the food was very delish and highly enjoyable! The ambience was rather bustling, convivial and noisy, like a typical long-operating neighbourhood HK Chinese-cuisine eatery, therefore not quite conducive to having a quiet dining experience. However, busied and harried staff did provide meticulous hospitality and professional service to the diners.

The Roasted Goose & Pigeon Set included 4 dishes, including the Signature Roasted Goose 新強記燒鵝皇 - flavourful with the marination and ample goose oil notes from the fattiness. The Roasted Pigeon 金牌燒乳鴿 was also a popular item, with 2 whole birds included in the set for 2, good value! We also got to choose 2 more from 20+ dishes, I tried the Deep-fried Squid with Pepper Salt 椒鹽鮮魷 and Eggplants with Minced Pork in Claypot 漁香茄子煲. Both were homey dishes and you just need a few bowls of rice to go with them.
